In celebration of World Teachers' Day, we are honored to recognize Statesmen College Preparatory Academy for Boys on the award-winning daytime television show SHERRI, with host Sherri Shepherd.
Statesmen teacher Michael Carswell and scholar Ahmad Long shared the Statesmen mission and approach to scholar development, including taking their 7th & 8th graders on the trip of a lifetime.

When is World Teachers' Day?
World Teachers Day is celebrated on October 5th every year. It was first established in 1994 by UNESCO (the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization) as a way to recognize the vital role that teachers play in shaping the minds of future generations. Since then, it has grown into a global event celebrated in over 100 countries.
